Top EU officials fought for higher pesticide exposure – secret documents show

A new investigation by Pesticide Action Network Europe has found that top EU officials fought for higher pesticide exposure to protect the use of 32 dangerous pesticides.

After a legal battle which took 2 yrs PAN EU obtained over 600 documents which showed top officials trying to protect chemical and farming interests from upcoming EU regulations on endocrine disrupting (EDC) pesticides.

EDC pesticides have been linked to birth defects, reproductive and neurological effects, cancer, as well as having devastating impacts on wildlife and the environment.
